The JCK conducts Shabbat evening services twice a month at 7:30 pm. The first service of every month is geared towards families with school-age children. It features a story and runs one hour. The second service of the month is geared towards adults and teens. This service includes a brief Torah reading, a discussion of the Torah portion, and runs one and a half hours. Our services are open to the entire community; they are a blend of English and Hebrew and feature lots of singing. We join together for food and fellowship at an “Oneg Shabbat”in the social hall following the service.
