Rabbi Helaine served as the Rabbi of the JCK from 1991-1996 and then moved to Israel with her family. She returned as the spiritual leader of our congregation in the Fall of 2004. Throughout her involvement with the JCK, her involvement with and commitment to the children of our religious school has continuously been nurturing, warm and compassionate.

Batyah’s years of experience in synagogue school and summer camp results in a comprehensive and innovative school program at the JCK. As the Director of Education, her philosophy ensures that students possess confidence, enthusiasm and pride in being Jewish.
